Hybrid powder + liquid: the method wheel manufacturers use to get a stable, durable color.
AL
Prepared aluminium
Chemical or thermal stripping, blasting, degreasing. A clean substrate with no oxidation or residue.

Epoxy powder primer
Bonding and anti-corrosion coat. Cured 12 min at 200 °C. Black or light grey depending on the color.

OEM base coat
The exact manufacturer color, in liquid form. Applied in 2 cross passes, flash-off before clear coat.
3
Clear coat
Transparent powder clear (gloss, satin or matt) for UV, impact and cleaning-product resistance.
